Ftouma Laayoune has been coordinator of her nonprofit organization Sew4Life for more than 3 years.

Trained as a fashion designer, she is now committed to helping disadvantaged women from migrant backgrounds become financially independent through the sale of recycled textile products. Through her nonprofit, she runs a workshop where these women have access to sewing machines and materials they need to make their own clothes.
