TRACK is a multiyear project, supported by many partners.
The North Quarter presents as many challenges as it does opportunities; we are aware of this and proceed step by step. In the first phase, we set up the Base Camp. The Base Camp allows us to strengthen existing relationships. Permanent residents organise their own programs and activities, and welcome their members and public at TRACK, while regular events make the space visible and connected to the city. This way, we hope to create exchange, break established patterns and foster new habits. In this phase and together with our partners, we also work on a structure that is socially and financially sustainable.
TRACK is a collaboration between LabNorth, UrbanFoxes, Academie Sint Lukas Schaarbeek, Sew4Life, Rebelle, GC Ten Noey, #BXNord and La Fourna, and was made possible through the initiative and support of 51N4E and the Flemish Brussels Fund’s program ‘Community Infrastructure as incubator in Brussels’. The project is part of the SNCB’s ‘Life in the Station’ program. For the organization of its events TRACK has a partnership with Witlof.

Camping Josée 2024
Camping Josée is coming soon, how do you imagine Camping Josée this year? This summer, the Josée team is pitching its tents in Parc St-François. Together, we'll make it a warm and welcoming meeting place for you this summer. We look forward to welcoming you. On days when the campsite is open, the construction playground is also open (8+), accompanied by das Kunst. And also: anyone can organize an activity at the campsite. Once again we'll need your help, so let's hope we can give you some sunshine on the Campsite again: Here's the link to the document for volunteers during Josée's Camping, for which we're already very grateful. Please note that filling in the form yourself is not possible, but let me know the dates and I'll sign you up. Josée Info @ chaussée de Louvain 54 At the end of the summer and beginning of September, Josée INFO will also be opening its doors at Chaussée de Louvain. Josée Info offers support and information to parents of school-age children. Parents can ask questions about registering for leisure activities, and there will be coaching provided etc. More info to follow later!

A free market (also known as a gratiferia) is a flea market where everything is free! It's a way of reducing waste and overproduction, but also a gesture of exchange and solidarity. This week, the free market will happen at : rue de l'Eclusier Cogge 18 - Brussels
Opening Festival "Débattons dans les rues"
Dynamique 1001 offers you a film screening 'Voyage sans retour' on the history of Turkish and Moroccan immigration in the area. The screening takes place within the framework of the Festival- 'débattons dans les rues’ that will take over the municipality of Saint Josse from 14 to 22 June 2024. This event is organized in TRACK in the North Station just above the McDonald's.
Hélifarm
Together with Velt and De Harmonie, Groot Eiland is starting a professional urban kitchen garden and community garden on the paved area of the Helihaven. The 'Helifarm' will grow vegetables in a sustainable way that will be sold to quality restaurants in Brussels. Groot Eiland offers work experience and training and organizes employment services for people who are short- or long-term unemployed. Velt et De Harmonie help local residents of the Helifarm to cultivate the communal garden” à Velt and De Harmonie assist local residents in growing in a communal vegetable garden. In this context and through an activity developed for and by the neighborhood, these organizations want to bring more dynamism, social cohesion and cleanliness to this neighborhood: the paved area of the Antwerpsesteenweg. This event will happen at the following address : Pedestal of the Laeken Fireplace (between Antwerpsesteenweg and Helihavenlaan - 1000 Brussels)
Cycling Tour
La Dalle. Children's bike tour starting from La Dalle (the 6 blocks between Chaussée d'Anvers and Avenue de l'Héliport in the Quartier Nord). MolemBIKE is a non-profit association based in the Maritime district of Molenbeek and West Brussels, It brings together dozens of cycling enthusiasts, volunteers, activists and professionals. A wide range of projects and activities are developed in a very friendly environment: cycling lessons for beginners and advanced cyclists (les Hirond'ELLES), a participative cycling workshop (Do-It-Yourself), discovery rides for the general public, a mobile repair workshop (Barak'à Fiets), a small mechanics school, cycling courses for children or awareness-raising actions for everyday cyclists (Kidical Mass 1080), and much more!
