A former Jardin Botanique transformed into a cultural center in the heart of Brussels, Le Botanique is committed to promoting musical discoveries and the visual arts.
It supports established and emerging visual artists from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (10 exhibitions per year), as well as numerous musicians (around 400 concerts per year) throughout the year and at its May music festival (Les Nuits Botanique), for both international and local talent.
Inaugurated in 1829 as a national botanic garden, le Botanique became the cultural center for the French Community of Belgium on the 23rd of January 1984 and nowadays is one of Belgium’s most visited and active cultural centers.
